Enhanced Authentication Options
Improve user experience with multiple login options and enhanced security
HUBB24 uses Base44's built-in authentication system. To enable social login options and enhanced security features, you'll need to configure OAuth providers in your Base44 dashboard.
Why Multiple Login Options Matter:
- Faster registration and login process for users
- Reduced password fatigue and forgotten password issues

Google Sign-In is the most popular OAuth provider and is trusted by billions of users worldwide.
Setup Steps:
- Go to Base44 Dashboard
Navigate to your app's authentication settings
- Enable OAuth Providers
Find the "Authentication Methods" section
- Configure Google OAuth
- Create a project in Google Cloud Console
- Enable Google+ API
- Create OAuth 2.0 credentials
- Add authorized redirect URIs provided by Base44
- Copy Client ID and Client Secret to Base44 dashboard
- Test Integration
Use Base44's test mode to verify login flow
Important
Facebook Login
Great for reaching users who primarily use Facebook. Popular in many regions.
Setup:
- Create app on Facebook Developers
- Enable Facebook Login product
- Configure OAuth redirect URIs
- Add App ID and App Secret to Base44
Twitter/X Login
Quick authentication for users active on Twitter/X platform.
Setup:
- Create app on Twitter Developer Portal
- Enable OAuth 2.0
- Configure callback URLs
- Add API Key and Secret to Base44
Email/Password (Default)
Traditional authentication method. Always keep this enabled as a fallback option.
Password Recovery
Base44 provides built-in password recovery via email.
Configuration in Base44 Dashboard:
- Enable "Forgot Password" feature
- Customize email templates for password reset
- Set token expiration time (recommended: 1 hour)
- Configure sender email address
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Add an extra layer of security for user accounts.
2FA Options:
- SMS OTP: Send verification codes via SMS
- Email OTP: Send verification codes via email
- Authenticator App: Use apps like Google Authenticator
- Backup Codes: Generate recovery codes for users
Session Management
Control how long users stay logged in and manage active sessions.
Recommended Settings:
- Session timeout: 7 days for mobile, 24 hours for web
- Enable "Remember Me" option (30 days)
- Automatic logout on suspicious activity
- Option to view and revoke active sessions
