Create Android App Bundle for Google Play Console

Step-by-step guide to package HUBB24 as an Android app

Method 1: PWABuilder (Recommended - Easiest)

No coding required

Step 1: Visit PWABuilder

Go to https://www.pwabuilder.com

Step 2: Enter Your App URL

Enter: https://hubb24.com

Click "Start" and wait for it to analyze your PWA

Step 3: Review PWA Score

PWABuilder will show you a score and any issues. Make sure:

Manifest is detected ✓
Service Worker is active ✓
Icons are present ✓

Step 4: Generate Android Package

Click on "Store Package" → Select "Android"

Step 5: Configure App Details

Fill in these details:

• Package ID: com.hubb24.app
• App Name: HUBB24
• Launch URL: https://hubb24.com
• Theme Color: #1e293b
• Background Color: #f8fafc
• Icon URL: (Use your app icon URL)

Step 6: Generate Signing Key

PWABuilder will help you generate a signing key. Choose:

Option 1: Let PWABuilder generate key (easier)
Option 2: Use your own signing key

⚠️ Important: Save your signing key securely! You'll need it for all future updates.

Step 7: Download App Bundle

Click "Generate" and download your .aab file

You'll get a ZIP file containing:

app-release-signed.aab (upload this to Play Console)
assetlinks.json (for domain verification)

Method 2: Bubblewrap CLI (For Developers)

Requires Node.js & Android SDK

Prerequisites:

Node.js installed (v14+)
Java JDK 11 or higher
Android SDK (with SDK Build Tools)

# Step 1: Install Bubblewrap

npm install -g @bubblewrap/cli

# Step 2: Initialize Project

bubblewrap init --manifest https://hubb24.com/functions/getManifest

# Step 3: Build App Bundle

bubblewrap build

# Output file location:

./app-release-bundle.aab

Uploading to Google Play Console

Step 1: Create App in Play Console

Go to Google Play Console

Click "Create app" and fill in the details

Step 2: Upload App Bundle

Go to: Production → Create new release → Upload your .aab file

Step 3: Add Store Listing

App name, description, screenshots
App icon (512×512)
Feature graphic (1024×500)
Privacy policy URL
Contact details

Step 4: Set Up Domain Verification

Upload the assetlinks.json file to:

https://hubb24.com/.well-known/assetlinks.json

Step 5: Submit for Review

Complete all required sections and submit for review

Review typically takes 1-3 days
